Sink your teeth into this smoked cheeseburger featuring juicy beef patties seasoned with Angus & Oink Mac Daddy, smoked to perfection and topped with melted cheddar, fresh veggies, and a zesty hit of Boomas Burger Sauce on toasted brioche.
Ingredients
- 500g (about 1 lb) ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
- 2 tbsp Angus & Oink Mac Daddy seasoning
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 brioche buns
- 4 tbsp Boomas Burger Sauce
- Toppings: sliced pickles, lettuce, tomato, red onion
Instructions
- Prepare the Patties: In a bowl, combine the ground beef with Angus & Oink Mac Daddy seasoning. Form into four even-sized patties, pressing a small indentation in the center of each for even cooking.
- Smoke the Patties: Preheat your smoker to 110°C (225°F). Place the patties in the smoker and cook for 45 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 60°C (140°F) for medium.
- Add Cheese: Place a slice of cheddar on each patty and smoke for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
- Toast the Buns: While the cheese melts, lightly toast the brioche buns on the grill or smoker.
- Assemble the Burgers: Spread 1 tbsp of Boomas Burger Sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place the smoked patty with melted cheese on top, then add pickles, lettuce, tomato, and red onion.
- Serve: Finish with the top bun, and enjoy the added kick from Boomas Burger Sauce!
