You can skip the Chinese takeout tonight because this recipe for BBQ Sweet Chili Glazed Drumsticks is going to absolutely blow your mind! Trust me, if finger lickin’ was an Olympic sport, you’d be gold medalists after you’re through with these bad boys!

Ingredients

  • 900g chicken drumsticks
  • The Butcher’s Cut BUTCHER’S BLEND AP Rub
  • 260 ml sweet chilli glaze
  • diced green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the drumsticks with the BUTCHER’S BLEND AP Rub.
  2. Next, lay drumsticks on a sheet pan or rack and place in the fridge uncovered for 4 hours. This will allow the flavour to soak in as well as dry out the skin so your chicken comes out crispier when cooking!
  3. Next, fire up your BBQ pit to 120C and cook drumsticks for 45 minutes.
  4. Flip drumsticks over and cook for an additional 45 minutes.
  5. Next, brush on the sweet chilli glaze to all sides of the chicken, and continue cooking for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove and sprinkle with a small handful of diced green onions.
  7. Rest for 5 minutes and serve!
